Sales, Shipping & Animal Policies

At Shadowcrest Exotics, the health and well-being of our animals is our highest priority.

1. Buyer Age & Eligibility

All buyers must be at least 18 years old at the time of purchase.

2. Sales, Returns & Refunds

Accepted Payment Methods: PayPal, Venmo, Zelle. Payment must be received and cleared before an animal is released.

All Animal Sales Are Final. No refund for change of mind. Returns by approval only.

3. Payment Plans

Available on geckos over $300. 25% non-refundable deposit. 30-day term. Gecko remains with Shadowcrest Exotics until paid in full.

4. Shipping

FedEx Priority Overnight. Ships Mon-Wed for delivery Tue-Thu. No shipping to Alaska or Hawaii. Shipping charged separately.

5. Weather Holds

Shipments scheduled 1 week in advance. Subject to weather, carrier, and holiday conditions. Shadowcrest Exotics may postpone for animal safety.

6. Temperature Guidelines

Home Delivery: 40F-85F. Hold for Pickup: 35F-90F. Final decision rests with Shadowcrest Exotics.

7. Delivery & Receiving

Authorized recipient must be present for home delivery. Hold for Pickup must be collected same day. Failure may void Live Arrival Guarantee.

8. Live Arrival Guarantee

Contact within 2 hours of delivery with photos/video. Keep animal and packaging until instructed.

9. Five-Day Health Guarantee

Contact within 24 hours of discovering concern with photos, enclosure conditions, and feeding info.

10. Local Pickup

Available in Perris, CA by appointment. Must be paid in full first. Buyer provides transport container.

11. Appearance & Genetics

Geckos change as they mature. Photos do not guarantee future appearance. No guarantee of breeding outcomes.

12. Compliance With Laws

Buyer is responsible for legality at their location.

13. Limitation of Liability

Shadowcrest Exotics not liable for indirect or consequential damages.

14. Policy Changes

Policies may be updated. The version at time of purchase applies.
