Shadowcrest Exotics began with a simple fascination: the incredible variety, personality, and beauty found within the crested gecko species.
What started as a passion for these remarkable animals has grown into something much bigger—a long-term vision built around quality genetics, responsible care, and a genuine appreciation for the animals themselves.
The name Shadowcrest reflects the character we want our collection to represent: animals with depth, contrast, individuality, and an unmistakable presence. From bold reds and striking patternless animals to high-contrast projects and carefully planned genetic pairings, every gecko has a place in the story we are building.
We believe breeding should be about more than simply producing babies. It is about learning, planning, improving, and building something worth being proud of—generation after generation.

We take a long-term approach to breeding. Rather than simply producing as many animals as possible, we focus on developing a collection with purpose—selecting for desirable traits, pairing genetics thoughtfully, and giving each generation the time and care it needs to thrive.
But genetics are only part of the equation.
Every gecko in our care deserves proper nutrition, appropriate housing, consistent monitoring, and an environment where it can grow and develop naturally. We believe healthy, well-raised animals are the foundation of everything we do.
